So to start our first post; Here's a list of the top 5 apps. There won't be an in-depth review or any pros/cons about each app, it's simply a list of the top 5 apps to have at the moment.

1) Angry Birds

Angry Birds is still the number one game/app to have on your iDevice. With 225 levels to complete. Dish out revenge on the green pigs who stole the Birds’ eggs. Use the unique destructive powers of the Angry Birds to lay waste to the pigs’ fortified castles. Angry Birds features hours of gameplay, challenging physics-based castle demolition, and lots of replay.

You can either get the full paid version or try out the lite version here.

2) Real Racing 2

GT for your iDevice? It may not be GT 5 but this game brings the graphics, the experience and multi-player to your iDevice. 30 licensed cars to buy, upgrade and sell. Race against players worldwide in the multi-player mode via wifi or complete your career mode to get all gold cups in each event. Amazing graphics, controls and game play. This is a must have game that will keep you coming back for more.

3) iFast Video Zoom Pro.

Have you ever needed to pause a recording and wish you could resume? Or perhaps you're recording a video and decide you want to take a picture? With the ios built-in camera app, you can only do one task at a time, and it's quite limited. With iFast Video Zoom Pro, there's a list of things you can do;
You can record and pause video recording as many times as you like.
Record video and switch from the back camera to the front facing camera, without stopping the recording.
Keep the LED light on to use as a torch while recording videos or taking pictures.
Zoom during recording.
Take pictures while recording or pause the video, take a picture and then resume recording.
Add effects before recording video, there's no long waiting times for it to render.

This app is a must have for those who wish the default camera app had these features or at least some of them. It's worth every penny!

4) Pano & 360 Panorama

I've chosen both these apps for the number 4 spot. They both do what they're supposed to do, and that's take Panorama Pictures on your device.
Pano; You can take up to 16 photos to get that 360 Panorama effect. You have to line up each shot individually and Pano has a semi- transparent line on the previous photo to help you do this. You simple point and shoot, then move on to the next photo and line up the images.
It can take some getting use to, but once you master lining up the images correctly, the outcome is great! The images are aligned perfectly, so there's no wonky looking edges around your final Panorama. Just nice "clean cut" edges.
360 Panorama; This application is much easier to use than Pano. You simple open the application and start the recording as you pan your body around 360 degrees. 360 Panorama doesn't require your to line up each image individually, the app does that for you in real time. The outcome varies, giving the light conditions and how well you pan around. The edges of the Panorama are not clean cut, but sometimes we like to have that effect ;)
Both apps are worth having, I cannot say one is better than the other.
5) Transfire
Transfire is a translation application. It can Translate to and from 52 languages, Translate chat, Text to Speech, Phonetic Transliteration - Spell out the translated message in your native language for an easy way to read and pronounce the translation, share your translations via SMS, email, Facebook & Twitter... plus lots more. It's a great application with so many features, that's why this is in the top 5 and not some other translation app. You should check it out and see what features it has to offer and try out the lite version.
